Dear family,

We are coming upon 5 years, 260 Tuesdays at Underground Nomads, with 8 more Tuesdays to go.

“WHAT???” Keep Reading …

We are excited to be celebrating 5 years, And to announce that we are still here, and will continuing to do shows after our last Tuesday. Underground Nomads is going nowhere … Wait, that’s not true. We are going Everywhere!

This is an announcement of our expanding our boundaries, our space. We are ready for our next adventures. Won’t you join us?

Keep an eye on our website and facebook page for news and updates.

We will celebrate our 5 year anniversary with our Last Weekly Tuesday show at F8 (for now, who knows what the future will bring) being our 5th Tuesday Benefit on July 31st.

After a short break, we will continue with occasional or semi-regular shows on different nights of the week and at different locations. We already have some plans in the works to bring Underground Nomads to some different locations in the Bay Area and beyond. We have already done shows in Malaga, Spain and Portland, Oregon, and have plans in the works for shows in Oakland and Seattle. We’ll even come back to F8 on occasion because it is and always will be our home. We landed and grew here into what we are today, and would not have had the opportunity to keep this going if it wasn’t for the awesome and amazingly supportive family at F8.

Here is a glimpse of what we have coming for the next 8 weeks. This is our countdown, not to the end but to our launch into our new Nomad adventures:

Tonight (if you are reading this on the 12th of June):
– DJ Amar

So, this is not goodbye. Not even close. This is a thank you to all of you who have supported us over the years and enabled us to take our show on the road.

… And we hope that we will see you when it’s time for our next show!
