Dear family,

We are coming upon 5 years, 260 Tuesdays at Underground Nomads, with 8 more Tuesdays to go.

“WHAT???” Keep Reading …

We are excited to be celebrating 5 years, And to announce that we are still here, and will continuing to do shows after our last Tuesday. Underground Nomads is going nowhere … Wait, that’s not true. We are going Everywhere!

We have already done shows in Malaga, Spain and Portland, Oregon, and have plans in the works for shows in Oakland and Seattle. We’ll even come back to F8 on occasion because it is and always will be our home. NOTE: NEW THEMED TUESDAYS.
1st Tuesdays will continue to be our usual open format, showcasing all styles of belly dance and other styled of world dance. We kick off Roots & Ritual on 2nd Tuesdays for a 3 month series (we may continue into 2018). On 3rd Tuesdays, Peep Show (Drag, Burlesque, Variety show formerly 3rd Wednesdays at Codeword) has taken over the Underground Nomads stage. We will be kicking off our Dark Fusion theme “Conjure” on 4th Tuesdays in November, December and January – curated by Ariellah.

With our new scheduling format, nothing has changed for the early part of the night, except we will be transitioning to starting our performances a few minutes earlier. So plan on coming by 9pm for the first set in the coming months (Each week’s Show Times will be posted in the weekly update). Following the show, F8, will be taking over with a new late-night club called VS. All are welcome to stay, and if you all are wanting to continue listening to the signature Underground Nomads global beats into the late night, we’ll move it to the back room for an intimate party.
