About Performers:

Deidre Anaid

Newly relocated to Munich, Germany, Deidre Anaid is a previous SF bay area dark fusion belly dancer and performance artist. Her love for movement has led her  journey of dance studies spanning from belly dance, hip hop, Kathak, Congolese African dance, and butoh, to boundary breaking performance art. All influences her deriviation of fusion belly dance.   An involvement in the underground gothic/industrial scene for over 20 years, has also influenced her music stylings and performance aesthetics over time. About Prerana:
Prerana Women’s Health Initiative (based in Mysore, India) was founded by Dr Purnima Madhivanan, an Indian-born professor now teaching at Florida International University.

Services include prevention of mother-to-child HIV, free cervical cancer screenings, and training for Community Healthcare Workers.
