Shortly Following Dub Mission’s 17 year Anniversary this past Labor Day weekend, DJ Sep returns to her new residency On for another dubbified journey around the world.

We also have the amazing Hot Pot dancers from Sacramento, VERBATIM, joining the crew for some signature Improvizational Tribal Style Belly Dance. If you haven’t seen them rock the stage, don’t miss this (If you have seen them, you know not to miss it).

Verbatim (UNMATA / Hot Pot Studios, Sacramento)

Verbatim is Hot Pot Studios premiere troupe, a collection of performers and instructors in Unmata I.T.S. and dance fusion. Since their establishment in 2005 by Amy Sigil, Verbatim has performed over 200 shows from rockin out with local musicians in pop, punk, rock, world fusion dance to the international stages and belly dance festivals worldwide. Now the independently self directed Verbatim promises to continue being ” An exotic taste on a rock & roll palette.” Verbatim is Heather Macdonald, Natascha Storms, and April Hollon (aka lil’a).

Also joining us on this night will be a duet performance with locals Danielle and Jeannette, as well as solo performances by Bramani and Masha.

Fusion belly dance artists Danielle Lottridge and Jeanette Walton began to collaborate on innovative explorations of musical and physical form two years ago when they formed the duet “Two Winks”. They’ve danced at shows, clubs, and art collectives in San Francisco, Oakland and Southern California, and they are thrilled to present new choreography at Underground Nomads!

A captivating belly dancer, tantalizing burlesque artist, fierce aerialist, and incredible fire eater all in one, Bramani Quinn is one of the premier performers of the bay area.  Bringing theater. dance, and circus training together she is sure to inspire every audience.

Masha is a multi-award-winning dance artist specializing in Modern and Classic Egyptian belly dance styles. She is distinguished for her grace, refined musicality, and expansive dance training within and beyond the realms of Middle Eastern dance.

September brings exciting performances by residents FatChanceBellyDance, Verbatim and more, plus very Special Guest music producers and DJs from Austria and Japan, Dunkelbundt and Makyo.

We are excited about our new venue in SOMA, F8, with a great sound system and dance floor, awesome bar and lounge area, and friendly staff. Easier parking too, and BART access (short walk from Civic Center BART). We will be starting earlier, at 9pm. Come early for happy hour snacks and cocktails. Bar opens at 6pm.

We continue showcasing the finest and most beautiful dance talent available in the SF Bay Area and beyond, bringing a different mix of performers each week.

We arrive at 8pm, kicking off with dance performances starting between 9:30-10 following a warmup downtempo DJ set by Amar.
$5 Cover, 21+, Free before 9:30. 2-for-1 before 11 with mention.
