Launch Party Dance Performances

So here’s the deal, if you haven’t heard yet … Underground Nomads is a new weekly in SF where some of the finest local Global Beat DJs have joined forces with the Bay Area’s most amazing dance performance artists – bringing in Special Guests from near and far to join the resident crew.

Each Tuesday, we begin at 9pm, with a Happy Hour warmup set where you can chill to ambient tribal vibes. Dance performances kick off at 10pm, followed by our DJs rockin the dancefloor for the rest of the night.

This week, we bring you Resident DULCE VITA, joined by Special Guest KITTY D (See Previous post for details), for your dancing pleasure. Our featured Dance Performance artist is ERICA.

Erica has performed in the Bay area for more than ten years, captivating audiences with her contagious smile, sensual moves, joyful dance, and technical skill. Her graceful and passionate embodiment of bellydance has been influenced by studies in Tribal Fusion, Cabaret Bellydance, Turkish Roman, Persian, jazz, and traditional folkloric dances. She has performed professionally in theaters, restaurants, private parties, and nightclubs since 2002. Past performance experience includes work with Ultra Gypsy, Elizabeth Strong, Damage Control Dance Theater, L’Anonyme Collective, Miriam Peretz’s Student Ensemble, and Adara Dance Company. Erica has also studied with and been influenced by Jill Parker, Miriam Peretz, Suhaila Salimpour (certified), Elizabeth Strong, (as well as her teacher Reyhan), Kami Liddle, Mira Betz, Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, and Ansuya. Currently, Erica is a principal dancer in Adara Dance Company, and well as performing solo work.
